Saw this movie as a child a long long time ago--never forgot this routine, pure class.

You hear that kids, that what's singers used to sound like before auto-tune made anyone a singer.

As close as we're going to get to seeing what the old Ziegfeld-style revues of Broadway were like.

Such talent always love that version

@heb1114 - Thanks for the info! It's wonderful to see that this splendid performance is still appreciated by so many these days. So much class & polish, it's just not seen much any more.

@kelsowins I know, absolutely incredible!! He has to be one of the most naturally gifted tenors (without straining) I've ever heard. By the way, that last note is the B above middle C.

I love this song and production number from "An American in Paris!" Anyone know what note Guetary hits at the end? How many tenors could do that?? And he holds that note for what seems like f-o-r-e-v-e-r! Stunning!!

I can't walk up the two flights to my apartment without a) looking down them and b) tripping on at least one of them. This man's performance is extraordinary. Incredible balance. I wonder how many takes that took?
