Sorry to hear about your problems. I've read it's very common for people with no psychiatric history to hear voices. It's just something that most people who experience this stay quiet about. If you've got a good family I hope you stay close to them.

it's not just accepting that there is a god, god is an unknowable. all gods are, but they are not the only unknowables. it is accepting that all unknowables exist. i just used god because the name is widley reconized.

I agree. I'm sure there is a "God" in the most generic sense due to reasons I described below, but science has disproved any religion that has ever attempted to explain the great mysteries. It's probably not possible to know anything before the Big Bang.

I don't believe in psychic abilities, but a few years ago I literally predicted 5-10 seemingly random events a few days before they occurred. Due to my belief in God, I thought he was somehow speaking to me. My family ended up getting me put in a psych ward under an involuntary 72 hour hold. No drugs in my system, so they even suspected schizophrenia! I believe in a "god" is unexplained physical phenomena, but nothing more. Religion doesn't understand these things either.

You should be glad that you never went to School in England, children aged 9-11 would stand and point at you and Grammar School children would tear you a new one. So, ridicule over, serious points now. As an educator, I urge you to critique everything and question your own beliefs intensively, please do not remain wilfully ignorant of fact. If you do not understand for example The Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection find a reputable source and study. It is awe inspiring! Wishing you well.
