Your speesh sounds fine. I can't tell you have deffness. My friend Lauren is DEAF in BOTH ears she had a hearing aid since she was 2 and in kindergarten she got a cochlear implant. I am mildly deaf in my left ear and moderately deaf in my right ear. I can't wait until I get my hearing aids so that I can here sounds better. What does it sound like with a hearing aid? Does it sound mechanical? Or does it sound normal just louder? Also can you not here low or high pitched noises?

Dont change the tubing yourself take it to you hearing aid specialist. The tubing becomes very dry and brittle and adheres the the hook. siemens hase a nitro cic hearing aid that has the same power as a BTE. check it out!

You don't sound very deaf at all, even without your hearing aids. Please don't get so uptight. PS you're hearing aid look very neat. Love the rainbow moulds.

i wear hearing aids, and it is the most horrible thing when one is lost or damaged. i wish for you the best..hope all works out ok and you get a new one or get it repaired ((huggz))
