Tiger airways TR182, landing at singapore changi airport. I have a question, why was the reversers still engaged even when the plane was already at such a slow speed?

  • How much memory was used when you record this?

  • Ermmm .... The reversers could be out till 60-40knots depanding.and also the IAE-V2500's Reversers are slow when closing.....sooo yea...... A32X , I LOVE EM ALL !!

  • he was helping to dry up the runway after the rain with his 'hair dryer' :P

  • The pilot seems busy . He even kept the spoilers armed .

    Anyway , you landed on 02C !

  • Reversers should be at idle by 60 kts. Other than that, it can be at idle even at taxi speeds. But it's best to stow it before vacating the runway.

  • Think it's 60 knots.

Haha, but that's definitely a plausible cause ;)

  • awesome video funky

  • I think that the Captain had it on idle reverse.. the thrust reversers are engaged, but the power is idle...
