I feel like I go on a trip when I listen to Journey, when I'm done I feel like a different person. I want to do things I just didn't feel like doing before. This music cheers me up and gives me the kind of goosebumps that you get when something is really and truly epic. I could listen to this song over and over and over and be even more impressed each time. Makes me remember what I have, and when I do, what I don't have just doesn't matter.

I'm just making a comment, not looking cause contraversy but I happen to be only 20 years old yet my appreciation for this song and all others in this genre and decade (plus or minus) will never be over powered. These.songs really are meaningful and are about more than needing a "shorty". They are about life experiences and events which the artists actually struggle with. Althoughs today's music may be catchy it will never fill the sentiment of real heart warming classics such as this one.

@dogsbone07 I think it's rather a case of those who say an entire generation's worth of music is worthless is trying to convince themselves of that. You've got to make yourself feel special somehow, and since the "cool" thing is always going to be liking old stuff over the new, making broad statements like that is sadly common.

Doesn't excuse BieberBro over there though.

Also? Anyone who says that Adele sucks has to have something intrinsically wrong with their brain.

@BIEBERBRO420 Because most of them are going to be too focused on thier Boy Bands and their Nicklebacks.

Also all of these bands from back in the day were praised by critics then and now. Bieber, on the other hand, is not. Literally everyone that is not a teenage girl bashes him and his music.

(Also I knew what Journey was at age 13)
