Hey! I'm so sorry, I'm late for the response... I've got it on my wrist and no, this watch is very comfortable. The battery (I opened the watch) is very easy to find in any market and cheap too. However I think this watch don't consume a lot (the leds runs only when you want it). Finally I can say that this watch is good during party, everybody say "Wooooaaah !" when your personalized message scroll on your wrist ^^
