Fantastic collaboration between British rock outfit Catherine Wheel and Throwing Muses/Breeders/Belly singer/songwriter Tanya Donelly. Appears on Catherine Wheel's 1995 album Happy Days with minimal vocals by Donelly, but this single remix joyfully features a Donelly vocals overload.

  • @4242424242lol It's good to hear that from someone that is young. I was in my 20s in the 90s and todays music does not even come close. It makes me realize I am not just some old dude.I like guitar based music. Well written songs with a lot of guitar. drums and bass. Let me know if there is any of that today because all I hear is dance and hip hop by people that don't play instruments but instead scratch a needle on a record. How much of that shit can anyone listen too?

  • Wow I havn't heard this song in years.I always liked it. There were Many heroin songs in the 90s'.I remember hearing this on the radio but I never knew who sang it. It is amazing that when you have not heard a song in years how it can instantly bring you back to the year it was released. 95 I think it was. That summer and 96 some great memories.i was listening to Pearl jam Gin Blossoms Counting Crows Blues Traveler Toad the wet Sprocket damn there were some good songs on the radio in the 90s

  • @MrBuc128 You might like My Morning Jacket

  • I'm so sick of people who talk shit about today's music on old music videos. I love this song as much as anyone but to pretend that this was what was happening in music in 1995 is fucking dumb. It's like Right Said Fred never existed. There's plenty of great music happening today. If you haven't bothered to look for good music recently, that's your problem, not the industry's problem because it's not like Belly was carving up the Top 40 back in the day either.

  • I love the Wheel, Catherine

  • Actually, I'm 33. And I saw them at The Lakewood Civic Auditaorium in 1995-96 when the two bands toured w/ Jewel. For the record you blind fool, my post stated that " I see and hear it ALL Y_E_A_R".

See that last word there, pal? Let me spell it for you "YEAR". As in I see and hear all the crappy music immitating the 80's that comes to the campus/c-bus all year. Idiot and moron? YOU were than one who couldn't properly read a full post!?!? H/ADD acting up kiddy, better take your perscription.

  • I saw them do this together in NYC back in 95/96 when they toured together. Epic show!!

  • @mattnnalan living on a major campus, you see and hear it all do you? Are you fucking nuts? How old are you anyway? Christ, it's comments from idiots like you that make me want to give up! You better stay comfortable and warm on your "major campus". Moron.

  • ...I just thought i still liked them for nastalgia, but i've been listening to catherine wheel, belly, lush all nite...and i gotta say it too...The modern music all sucks now.(I've a soft spot for the yeah yeah yeahs and dresden dolls). It's similar how our music grew outta the crap from the late 80'S....Living on a major campus i see and hear it all year. I was thinking i wasgetting old. lol

  • @DX4LIFFE You're not rambling on. Music in the 90's was all about meaning and feeling. Glad to know you are among the living. Peace

  • @kdub10009 The music was great back in the 90's This song brings back memories of college and being in my 20's.
