This was probably about 2 years ago when gas prices plummeted from a national average of 4.35 a gallon to 1.56 a gallon for about 3 months.

Gas prices below 3 bucks?! Hax.

I was tempted to pick up the plate and lick the remaining drops of sauce off that was stubbornly evading my spoon.
As to the gas prices, the prices on their board, today were higher than gas stations around the corner. I think it was more like $3.53 a gallon, today. (11/29/2011)
They have fixed up the interior since that show was filmed.

OMG! This food is so good! Prices are moderate. Appetizers are between $7 & $11. Very reasonable for escargot stuffed mushroom caps w/garlic butter wine sauce, and crab stuffed artichoke bottoms w/asiago sauce. We had ox tail & the duck in the video. I don't remember prices but the average price of the items under the pasta menu is $9 for lunch and $14 for dinner. Desserts are $7. We had the bread pudding which is orgasmic and yummy apple pie. Both had cognac sauce.

The gas prices are that low to attract customers. I doubt the food is that cheap.
