I would create a RoboDog. It s a robotic vehicle armed with sensors and an intelligent program to make sense of the sensor inputs. Built on the .NET micro framework, the RoboDog can almost replace a police dog in most places. It can be remotely controlled by a human if required otherwise it can go around on its own. Unlike a real dog which has only audio ears , video eyes and smell nose sensors, the RoboDog will have a whole array of sensors including temperature, radio, UV etc. Except for agility, the RoboDog can outperform a real dog most of the times. Imagine a swarm of RoboDogs moving around the airport floor, sniffing the air for chemicals, sending live video to a central control room, and constantly keeping in touch with each other over a wireless link. Suddenly one of the RoboDogs finds something suspicious it broadcasts a come-have-a-look-at-this message, the other RoboDogs in vicinity soon gather together to have a closer look at the baggage. One RoboDog takes an UV image and sends back to control room, another RoboDog reads the barcode and a third one which was sniffing the air has just confirmed traces of explosives. An alert is sounded, the place is secure
wow, interesting
