umm ur kinda wrong...miami beat FSU in 2000, get ur facts straight

@westcoach41 Would Wahington beat Oklahoma to win the National Title?
-
@etchosts SOS= Strength of Schedule. There is a forumula to calculate a team's SOS. You can find it on the wikipedia BCS article. The BCS took SOS into account this stat from 97-03 and I'm almost sure it is not used anymore when making BCS rankings. I think they still somewhat use it but it is a very small stat in the larger BCS ranking system.

Washington had no right to be in the NC that year they lost to oregon. FSU lost to the better team that year Miami so they kind of deserved to be there that year.

@rambo7276 what does SOS stand for?

@seatowwwn206 miami beat fsu in 2000 buddy
-
@westcoach41 Let's just agree to disagree.

@rambo7276 I would buy that SOS argument but Miami has Bethune Cookeman on their schedule this year. 11 years have passed and they still don't get it. If they handled business at UW they play for the NC. Washington beats Oregon, the HUskies play for the NC. Plus, the rest of your arguments against Washington are completely wrong.

@5rodge Washington did not even win their own conference. Miami was the second ranked team in the country. 6 of Washington's wins against conference opponents were against teams that finished with a record of .500 or lower. Colorado State finished with a losing record. Idaho finished with a losing record. That means that Washington beat 8 teams that finished .500 or lower. Washington also won 5 of their games by at least 5 points or less. Miami beat more ranked teams.
