Yes. she sang in the contest in Taiwan and competed against other Chinese singers from HK and China and she got 1st place.

She's amazing. Sad that none of the companies took her in. In an interview, she stated that it was because she was "too old" for them since they were looking for people in their teens. They also told her to lose weight since she was "over weight" in their eyes. :\ They lost a talent.

it is unfortunate that she is not famous in the chinese world. linda is not only a great singer, she is linguistic genius. she speaks three languages fluently as far as i know.
