What is the scientific name of your Cichlid? Or if you don't know, a well known common name I could use to find the scientific one? :)
A while back I bought 10 feeder Yabbies and 6 months later only one was left. He ate all of his friends! I will make a video of him soon. He has really nice blue on his pinchers.
When I was 8 years old I had goldfish with yabbies and yes I discovered that they do not get along lol!

My attempts to keep Cichlids with Crayfish (or Yabbies as we Aussies call them) have always failed. How do these guys get along?

The cichlid is still doing well. The crayfish died after molting. They are very vulnerable with a soft shell. I think the cichlid may have attacked him... "Yabbies" are just fascinating to watch in an aquarium. Its best to put 3 of them together in a tank where they can hide and make their own territories. They do not get along well with fish.lol
