"He was educated here, at the University of Capistrano, where he read law, and a copy of 'Knocked Out Mamas'."

David McGahan's World was a series of sketches from the popular Australian 1990's sketch comedy show, Full Frontal. The sketches were a parody of your typical nature documentary, and featured a mix of Shaun Micallef's regular nonsensical and eccentric humour, mixed with some crazy set designs. Almost every single mockumentary shown on the sketch ended with a video of two antelopes, frequently referred to by David as 'goat creatures'.

  • have made myself sick laughing at this. have to go and have a lie down.

  • Does anyone know which David McGahan sketch has Shaun Micallef lip syncing badly to his own commentary?

  • i watch this and cant help but think of inception with the epic music score and bended gravity

  • @SpAmHaCk123 The parody element is primarily playing on the trend of getting media personalities to narrate documentaries simply to lure viewers in, regardless of whether the personality has anything to do with the subject at hand. Micallef's David McGahan character is a fictional hack celebrity who fictionally stars in other parodies such as Roger Explosion.

Everything else is wordplay and absurdism that both undermines McGahan's credibility and is humorous in and of itself.

  • LMAO

  • I don't get it, is there some sublimal joke in here with relevance to real documentaries? Its funny but there seems to be some kind of sarcastic joke here that I don't know about.

  • Tilted room! Hehe
