@0:52 Ingraham: Do you do your own laundry?
Gingrich: Yes. In fact I did it Sunday. We came off the road for a day so we could do the laundry.
Ingraham: But you don't tweet your picture?
Gingrich: No.

@1:33 Gingrich: You seemed to hang back a little, why?
Gingrich: Part of it was the format. They had been instructed beforehand not to applaud, the room was much smaller. I don't go in and automatically do things, I go in and try to feel the mood and feel the situation we're in.

@2:04 Gingrich: This was Romney's night to be desperate and my job was to frankly not make a major mistake and let him pound away and pound away and pound away until he disgusted people and I think from our perspective it worked reasonably well. Had I known that he owned stock in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac I probably would have had a pretty good zinger at that point but we didn't learn that until we left the debate last night.

@3:10 Ingraham: A number of your contracts with Freddie Mac are missing. What can you tell us about that?
Gingrich: I have no idea. That's the only thing I can tell you. We released a contract it was a standard contract, I think the other contracts are all exactly like that, but I have no idea where they are.
Ingraham: But doesn't Freddie Mac, presumably they have copies of the contracts that they signed with you.
Gingrich: Presumably they do and I'm sure that we'll ask if they'll release the copies because they are exactly the same contract.

@5:25 Ingraham: When they come at you with why didn't you report to the CEO or some other person why did you report to the head of lobbying at Freddie Mac if in fact you in essence were not a lobbyist. I think you have to answer that.
Gingrich: It's the head of government relations, not the head of lobbying and they are the ones that came to us and said they would like advice.

@6:43 Gingrich: Let me just point out, He [Romney] bought all the hard drives of all of his computers when he left the governorship. He's never released any of the documents about RomneyCare. He presumably bought them because he is afraid the Democrats would do something with them. He's never released anything about Bain. He's never released anything about Bain doing business with the Bank of Iran which they apparently did in 2004. Romney has not released any contracts of any kind involving any consulting that he did so it's a pretty one-sided standard we've gotten into here.
On Romney talking about what he has done for conservatism from Monday's debate: Question: Gov. Romney what have you done to further the cause of conservatism as a Republican leader? Mitt: Well, number 1, I've raised a family. Number 2, I've worked in the private sector. And then I took an opportunity to become Governor of a state that was slightly democrat. We cut taxes 19 times.

@8:07 Gingrich: It verges on hysterical. Mitt Romney has never done a single thing to further the conservative cause. In 1992 he gave money to Democrats, not Republicans. He voted in the Democratic primary for Paul Tsongas, he said he didn't want to go back to the Reagan-Bush policies. He said he wouldn't sign the Contract with America. Now this is a guy who frankly was a liberal, who ran to the left of Teddy Kennedy in 1994.

@9:04 Ingraham: I conclude from your response there that in Thursday's debate this will be the Newt Gingrich that shows up, not the zen Newt Gingrich of last night.
Gingrich: Right, but last night I thought it was useful to let people see how desperate Romney is and how his newt attack debate coach had taught him to say dishonest things in rapid fire in order to set up the stage. I think you'll fine Thursday night we'll do just fine.

@10:58 Gingrich: The Republican establishment wants someone who will pleasantly and calmly manage the decay. They don't want somebody who is going to take the risk of breaking up the Washington insider system.

@11:35 Gingrich: On the Federal Reserve and on sound money I think Ron Paul has said a lot of things that are pretty darn smart.

@12:09 Ingraham: Would you put him [Ron Paul] in your administration?
Gingrich: I think there would be a role for him, I'm not sure put him in the administration is necessarily the right way to approach it but I do think that his values and his goals would be important and I think he'd play a major role at the convention. Which the McCain people did not give him.

@13:15 Ingraham: Fact check by the Associated press on the balanced budget issue. You said that four years straight but in fact they say there were actually two cause the budget surpluses were actually 1998-2001 but you left Congress in 1999. What do you say to that?

Gingrich: I say that the Balanced Budget Act of 1997 is what led to the four balanced budgets and there were no major changes to budgeting between that and the attack on 9/11.

  • Neutered Grinch got eaten by Ruminant today hahahahahaha. Is this whore Laura Ingroin stil backing? What a cunt.

  • If Newt thinks any Ron Paul supporter would ever vote for him after calling them all indecent human beings, he's dreaming. Newt is a lying piece of turd and he'll never be president. Period.

  • Go, Newt ! Go, Newt !

  • He would be a really odd choice...but he strongly supports space exploration and creating a viable space industry, so he kinda rocks.

  • Newt is the man that can straighten shit out in Washington.

  • Newt Gingrich is really starting to discust me.

Why doesn't Laura just come out and endorse Newt? She's already strategizing for him over the radio.

These two should just start the third affair and get it over with.

  • I'm quickly losing respect for Laura Ingraham.

  • Go ahead Ingraham, make Obama's day and help Newt get the nomination.....dumb bitch.

  • This bitch has huge choppers.

  • *done
