The Lord of Miracles was painted by an anonymous slave from Angola in 1651 and represents Christ crucified on the cross.
It is located in Lima, Peru, and is venerated by Peruvians all over the world.
Every October a procession of more than a million believers accompanies the image as it is carried through the streets of Lima.
It is one of the biggest processions in the world, lead by 25,000 members of The Lord of Miracles brotherhood.
These leaders are organized into 20 groups and each group walks 300 meters of the procession.
The main days of the procession are the 18th, 19th and 28th of October and the route taken is generally through downtown Lima.
