  • @Liscom Yet they are still working the bugs out with it. The VFDR design is bound to pose problems regardless especially with the inherent low sideslip tolerances. As such it will be a while before it actually enters service and even still JDRADM is just around the corner.

  • @radiowave1978 Its an Beyond Visual Range Air-to-Air Missile, coming into service with the RAF in 2015, we have the Brimstone for A-G missions, we just needed something superior to kill in the sky.

  • @flarkey It didn't need to. The idea is to make sure it will drop away cleanly without tumbling.
