Me playing Sade's Smooth operator. Tell me if it made the tone closer to the original solo, when I switched the pickup balance! Other than that: RATE, COMMENT, SUBSCRIBE!

  • altough I don't like the way you play the pre-chorus part, I think the solo is brilliant and the tone is well set.

  • One on the bast versions I have hear of this song - brilliant start, muted pluck gives it that funky sound. I hope to play this well one day

  • a tip: use the chorus effect in the solo part, and ending the solo try to begin use slap bass

  • nice playing like it:) i have rbx 170 and i'm planning to buy 270 now..which wood is the body wood of 270?

  • I'm currently trying to learn this song. This helped me a lot, thanks! :)

  • hi..cool videos !!!

what amp do you use? ty

  • You do this just as well as Paul Spencer Denman!!! :)

  • not bad , but I preffer the original bass line.

  • cool ...love it !!

  • Not bad at all. I could be wrong, but I think in the original he might be playing a fretless, hence the smoother, less agressive tone.
