QOLP Develops Mobile Commercial Creation Application : DigInfo

QOLP has developed Real Comic Producer, which enables consumers to use their mobile phone to advertise their favorite stores in the form of comic strips.

Downloaded to their mobile phone, Real Comic Producer enables users to take photos and insert speech balloons and text to create a comics slide show in comic strip form.

The comic strip is sent to the store's website. After the store gives its approval, the comic strip is uploaded to the site, and the producer of the comic can gain "creator's privileges" at the store.

The comics are uploaded to a server, and converted to Flash content for streaming. This service enables people to view each other's comics. Stores can send targeted advertisements to users who view their website on mobile phone.

Currently, QOLP provides a beta version of Real Comic Producer, primarily in Yokohama.
