They aren't useless. They are alot easier to learn and read than latin alphabet.

@r4ndi4r Yea 8000 characters is a lot easier. Just about 99% of mandarin speaks dont know all the characters idiot. Chinese characters cant even properly sound out things. Walmart for example can only be pernounced WA ER MAR. Easier than latin alphabet my ass.

Its actually really quick and easy to type in Chinese like this. The software guesses what you want to say and gets it right most of the time, really making it quicker than typing in English for me.
