Oh, the joys of Lag Compensation. This is a precise example.

If you turn, to others you will turn .1 seconds later. If you hit with your bat, to others you will hit with your bat .1 seconds later.

If you see a Spy raise his knife, to you he already did that .1 seconds earlier.

Basically, in this video the Scout's player was already backstabbed before he even turned around.

@RdTrler Similiar thing happens when I try to avoid a heavy. The bullets from his minigun seem to magically go through solid walls.

Since this was in 2008,I think back then there was an slow backastab animation thatv didn't kill if the victim ran away.Here spy started raising his knife and as scout turned back,Spy didn't lower his knife and due to animation playing,hit the Scout with the knife as if it was from the back.

This Happens very often when playing scout. They move so fast that the game identifies a normal spy-stab as a backstab :D
