  • Sometimes "Find edges" is better

  • @knudronau I'll admit, "Find Edges" is better if you want the details to be more crisp. Nice catch =)

  • Can I make it to a colour drawing by not turning it into B/W?

  • @akira151196 If you want to make this look like a color drawing, follow the tutorial all the way through. Then once you're done, duplicate your original picture, drag it to the top of your layers, and set the blend mode to color =)

  • Great video as soon as I see ch-ch-check it out I know its well worth watching I am a complete novice so thanks for showing the vids in great detail and taking time to explain, all the way from Manchester UK cheers guys :)

  • @ChChCheckItsClan, I actually used to work with a simpler procedure omitting the

    1. smartobject, and 2. Motion Blur filter steps of the tutorial. This is how i did mine, after changing blend mode to Color Dodge, I simply go to Filter>Other>Minimum and use radius of 0.1-5.0{my favorite} thereabout or Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur with 0.1-7.0 thereabout as well. Do give it a shot as well. I'd try Find Edges too. Looking forward to more of your tutorials. U're amazing

  • @kareka5551; Most times these things flow naturally, but you can try watching more cartoons, try out Imaginative-merge-up creations of existing designs...and before you say JACK, you are more Imaginative than you earlier understood about yourself.

It's not just practice, I would say; "Good Practice Makes Perfect!".

  • I actually do love this effect a lot and it does look like a drawing, but if I only drew that much in art class my teacher would kill me for not adding enough detail xD

  • I LOVE PHOTOSHOP because it has so many ways to end up with the same result (or a variant). I have been doing this effect for years and with even lower versions of PS. (The first time I did it was with PS7.) There is a MUCH QUICKER way of doing it, Ctrl-J original layer, Desaturate the copy, Ctrl-J again, Ctrl-I Copy 2, Linear Dodge, Gaussian Blur to desired effect, and, to quote you, "call it done".

  • What the hell there is one dislike! D**m . I love your tutorial! I can follow it very easily and its so fast! I love you guys!

  • WTF you are a genius coooooooooooooooooooooool

  • @ChChCheckItsClan where is the blend button?

  • the first drawing, look between his legs... IT LOOKS LIKE A PENIS

  • I am adept at using Photoshop, but my imagination is absent even though I was watching more video

What is the solution to this problem?
