I added power and steering to the excellent Lego Vw bus set. I tried to keep as much details as possible. The floor had to be raised to accomodate the battery. The motor is located in the back where the "engine" once was. The steering uses a four link design to allow the wheels to turn in place without contacting the body. The power function receiver is located under the rear seat: as a result, the seat does no longer fold down. The motor that powers the steering mechanism is located under the rear facing seat. A worm gear box is located under the front bench seat. Pictures here: https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/117835118185958118152/albums/5670180629520...

  • I want instructions.

  • you should put power functions in the name

  • That is very impressive, I plan to make my front wheels "turnable" for display purpose, but I won't be adding the power function like you, its too expensive for me!~. Really nice project.
