  • i respect molly ringwald that much more now :) sorry i think i misspelled that

  • @thetruth6789 My comment was meant to be tongue-in-cheek anyway, but it is in there.

  • @thetruth6789 Wow, you comment on a year old post of mine, don't even bother to look up the passages that I referenced, and call me an ignorant fool. Re: what I said about the Bible and divorce, Malachi 2:16 says, '"I hate divorce," says the LORD God of Israel, "and I hate a man's covering himself [a] with violence as well as with his garment," says the LORD Almighty.' Re: what I said about reconciliation and forgiveness, look up Luke 11:4 and Ephesians 4:32. Christ, you must be bored...

  • @samot8728 This has nothing to do with human rights, homosexuals have the same rights as all couples, this is about homosexuals wanting to forcefully change the definition of marriage after thousands of years, that is fascism at it's pure definition.

  • @samot8728 You can keep dreaming, but like I said a million times the U.S. Judicial System does not have the jurisdiction to change the definition of marriage. Furthermore the reason you go to a court before you get married is to enter a civil union, which all couples must enter to recieve rights and benefits under U.S. law.

  • @thetruth6789 Marriage will some day be approved at the federal level, just like Canada, Spain, South Africa, Portugal, and a few other european countries. This is not a state issue. This is a human rights issue and you are on the losing side of this argument. Everyday more and more people support marriage equality.

I do recommend you inform yourself about marriage laws. You are probably not married b/c if you were you would know that you need to go to a court before a priest.

  • @thetruth6789 gay marriage is not about California. Gay marriage is about equality before the law (something else that is in our constitution). You can end this debate if you want. I understand that you simply can't really counter the arguments of someone who understand our laws and our constitution. Stick to your church, I'm sure you will find a more misinformed crowd there.

  • @samot8728 I could care less what other states do, I do not have the right to vote in other states.

  • @samot8728 This video is about Prop 8, what state is proposing this proposition? California. Why are you bringing up other issues that have nothing to do with the topic of the video.

  • @thetruth6789 separation of church and state is not explicit in the constitution but it is implied and a recognized constitutional principle. I can see you are learning something about our constitution. A few mins ago you were arguing that separation of church and state was a constitutional clause until I pointed out that such a thing clause did not exist.
