  • I have been in one of these for a while! I think you have a lot of great advice, and I really enjoyed this video. I wanted to ask you, some mornings I am just as slow as a 2,000 year old turtle. Especially when I'm in a slump. Do you have any suggestions for getting yourself up and going when you're trying to get ready and out the door? Thanks!

  • @HylyJrdn here are a few..get enough sleep, SO important. have a morning ritual. after i get the kids off to school i have my favorite hot chocolate in my favorite cup and sit and do emails, etc. on the computer. make your bed..it eliminates the overwhelming desire to crawl back in. shower early, it will help to wake you up. enjoy putting on your makeup and getting dressed. fake it til you make it! just keep going and it will get easier. i promise. xo emily

  • Amen sister!!! Though if I could add... Chocolate. Dark chocolate with a high cocoa content. Don't even have to eat the whole thing, just a piece or two will do. AND there's scientific data to support it ;)

  • YEs everyone gets in a slump . Poor, rich , old , young, beautiful and not-so beautiful ! These are great tips. getting dressed and out of the pj's during the day is a hard one , but Good advice since it makes one feel so much better.

    Your ideas on paper are perfect. Some are kinda funny !~
