  • Could you just use the same sealing process, by sealing the mylar bag with an iron and putting an oxygen asborber in it, but not put the bag in a bucket, just leave it out of the bucket and store it, or will it go bad too soon? Thanks!

  • @Random101541 the bucket is there to protect the bag from being damaged( broke, split, torn by mice, sharp object ets etc). On runs where i have run out of buckets ,ive dropped the bags in to a large rubber maid tote. They are less mobile that buckets. But it is also bulk food items that are suitable for a "shelter" in place type scenario( coffee, drink mixes, over runs of rice etc)

  • Can I keep my rice in it's original plastic bag, and put that in the mylar bag with O2 absorbers or is it better to dump the rice out of it's original plastic bag directly into the mylar bag?

  • But can you eat the old rice..

  • @CONTALTDELETE i remove mine from the plastic bags.

  • @rlmarin1968 Sorry, tyrone is real. In fact i had a good thanksgiving with him ,his two kids and his "white" wife. Sorry that because of your "white guilt" you feel the need to ASSume that because we use a name that sounds "afroamerican" that we are being racisist in some way or fashion! Good thing we dont talk about pablo( who is real as well) much or you'd have a race card coronary on us!!!

  • Man, I watched these vids a couple years ago and they got me started on my preps. Now I've got a pretty decent stockpile and you guys were a major inspiration for that. I love to come back and watch these every once in a while. Thanks, guys!

  • where the hell are you going to get all the water for all this shit? you know water is going to vanish faster than food going tah.

  • ACTUALLY THE VEDIO IS NOT CLEAR AND ALSO SMALL CHILDREN LIKE HOW ARE STUDING 9,8 CLASSES CAN NOT UNDERSTAND. SO, CREAT VEDIO SOME WHAT CLEARLY.

  • Wise up, folks! In this world of huricanes and tsunamis and 2 week long winter storms, a little food and other supplies put back is a no-brainer, so cut the boys a break. it doesn't have to be all about the comet or governmental collaps or the end of the world. If thats your motivation, good on ya and to each their own, but even just a few months put back for your family is a valid reason too, never mind the apocalypse. Thanks, PAW Productions,

  • Where is your link for the Mylar sealer you used? And for that size Mylar bag? Thanks

  • Nice to know thank you

  • @TheBgcheez Thanks for playing and viewing.

  • @TheBgcheez Your Mom know your skipping school? You have obviously spent years thinking through situations and have a whole preparedness plan. So you feel stupid about what you said, I get that. Idiots often talk out of their butts without thinking.

If close friends and family aren't preparing and WILL come to you when something happens, you have to put food back for them. If not your "1 year" supply becomes 1 MONTH when 12 show up.

  • @TheBgcheez You don't seem to get it.... Some folks are preparing for more than just a short term AND are preparing for MANY people. Try putting up food for an "extended" period of time for 12 people. Yep, we are NOT talking about a "2 week supply of beanie weenies". Also, use a brain a bit, this material was put aside specifically for checking later. Don't ASSume that everything you see on the video was the entire food stock, that's plain stupid.
