Danika Reading October 10, 2009 - Part II

Danika shows off her reading skills at age 3 years and 2 months of age. Danika was a micro-preemie born at only 2lbs 7oz - 10 weeks early. She also has Down syndrome. She may be a little hard to understand sometimes, but she also usually incorporates hand motions to help you understand what she is saying. We have been using the Love and Learning and Your Baby Can Read DVDs.

Kelly - not only did we not have any trouble with the variety of fonts on YBCR, but Danika is to the point where we can just write all the words and she can read handwriting! Good luck with the program - I'm sure your son will do awesome!!

This is so cool! I'm using both programs with my four year old son, who also has Down syndrome. I was worried about mixing them and I'm so glad to see you've had success doing just that. Did the different fonts in Your Baby Can Read cause any confusion? Your little girl is so sweet! Good job, both of you.
