I don't believe in God, do believe in evolution and science and reason... but also in a kind of free will. I believe that the laws of nature are regulative rather than determinative; that, in other words, they determine what kinds of events are possible and what kinds are impossible, without necessarily determining any particular outcome. The same cause may have many effects. Our consciousness of this fact as it applies to ourselves constitutes a kind of free will. Am I a naturalist?
@DarkMatter2525 Excellent point. I frequently have believers tell me they are searching for truth. That is obviously false, because they make it clear by their statements that they think they already have it.
It amazes me when I hear a theist scoff at those who admit that they don't have all the answers. How can someone learn the real answers if they're already so full of the phony answers? It's like their minds have been polluted.
Great vid. I try to avoid terminology like stating that the universe is "governed by laws of causation". If you take that statement too far you externalise the laws from the universe itself, and you sneak supernaturalism back in through the back door.
Thumbs Up/Faved. What else can I say.

Really good video. It's entirely me. I am incorrigibly naturalist. I wish all people had the look on life and reality, presented in this video.

Great video, expressing a philosophy & an outlook which I have now - after a lifetime - fully adopted, to my advantage and eventual happiness.
