Hougly Duo Beer Review: Original 16 Canadian Pale Ale.

My brother Gungeek and I review the very first beer donation I've recieved. This is Original 16 Canadian Pale Ale from Great Western Brewing out of Saskatoon, SK. It's a special release named in honour of the sixteen founders of the brewery, who in were employes of a Molson factory that closed in 1990. They purchased the facility and started Great Western Brewing.

It should be noted that there is a lot of talking to wade through here. My brother and I were drinking a bit more than usual and decided to make an extended beer tasting session out of our night which lasted a couple of hours and several beers. This 19min video is edited down from a 30min clip.

If you would rather not watch this, we both gave it a 3 out of 5. We thought it was a good session ale that lacked a lot of flavour and had no real hops character to speak of, thus it was more like an amber ale than a pale ale.
