Aquino III served as the guest of honor in the 30th anniversary celebration of the Makati Business Club (MBC). Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima, MBC chairman Ramon del Rosario Jr., co-vice chairman Roberto De Ocampo, and co-vice chairman Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala also joined the President in the unveiling of the newly-reformatted MBC logo. The crowd was entertained by the song performances of former Apo Hiking Society members Jim Paredes and Buboy Garovillo and Noel Cabangon during the event. MBC's objectives are projected through four main thrusts such as policy advocacy, information services and publishing, investment promotion and corporate citizenship. The organization is founded in 1981 and is composed of top senior businessmen representing the largest and most dynamic corporations in the Philippines. ***
