I'm getting one just like this soon!

@ancoloco I don't know about mice, but our blue is a great bug hunter. I never see them around, but he comes in with a big new bug every night.

My Burmese does this as well, he actually brings his throwing toys onto the bed if he gets bored during the night, so I sometimes wake up with three or four of them next to me. He's v. demanding about it! Lovely cats, lovely breed.

@ancoloco Ours was a prolific hunter! I'd come come many many many times to find a mouse head staring at me at the front door step. Once (no joke), ours took down a rabbit, proceed to eat most all of it, four hours later. Then, our neighbor lady asked us to please keep our Burmese inside on easter, as it was chasing the bunnies, and otherwise traumatizing the morning/children.

My Burmese cats have actually chased off dogs! The last dog was screaming and yelping down the road, we felt so sorry. The dog owner was absolutely perplexed! RIP Sassy Varsha Patel, six pounds of fury (and love).

adorable! our ragdoll used to do this as a youngster, did your cat ever "grown out of doing this" ?
burmese cats have known to have dog traits like fetching an object.

My burmese does that too...he's lilac. He's more dog then he is cat. He does it with actuall sticks and drops then right at your feet. If he's in a playful mood he will go outside and get a stick drop it at your feet and stare at you until you throw it. Burmese are well know for that...cool isn't it.
