You sing a very difficult song well, good job. Not pro but very good for an amateur. I'm impressed.

Learn Czech! It'll be fun! Nechceš vědět co je zde napsané? :)

Thanks for the notes! I got here from a Google search about the song, and your website came up. You had a great Czech pronunciation table on there, so I appreciate that. But you're right, I must find a native speaker to really understand it and truly grasp the emotions involved, as you obviously did!

Hey- This is a great performance of Dvorak. Your upper range sounds awesome. I have long loved this song and really want to learn it. I'm only worried about how to go about the pronunciation. Is this your native language, and if not, how did you master the letters?

Hi Katesfan72. Wow, thanks for your nice comment. No, czech isnt my native toungue, but im lucky to have a teacher who knows how to pronounce it. You can get pronounciation guides on the net (i can send you one if you need), but its also good to find someone who speaks czech so they can also give you a literal translation. Most copies also have the english version, which although isnt a great translation, would do if you couldnt pronounce or learn the czech.
