Besigye flight drama

The Jomo Kenyatta international Airport was today the platform of an intense political rivalry battle between Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni and opposition leader Dr. Kizza Besigye. And it was Besigye on the receiving end yet again as he was mysteriously prevented from boarding a Kenya Airways flight to Entebbe following what sources within the airline described as security concerns. Besigye was scheduled to fly back home today (Wednesday 11th May) after undergoing treatment in Nairobi following an attack by security agents two weeks ago. The Ugandan opposition leader had planned to lead protests on the eve of the swearing in of president Museveni for yet another term, a ceremony set for tomorrow. And as NTV's Richard Chacha reports, Nairobi incidentally continues to play host to a Ugandan political epic that may ultimately cause the government some blushes.
