My video report of the Malmö YouTube gathering of October the 8th 2011 organised by Martin aka 'Princeword'.
Look for the special Lord of the Rings touch I gave this video near the ending :-p
It was a fantastic experience for me to visit this, my first YouTube gathering.
The trip to Sweden was quite tedious, I traveled by train through Germany and Denmark. Started out at 6 am on thursday the 6th, my dad drove me to Leer in Germany where I caught the train to Hamburg. There I had an hour and a half wait for the ICE train to Malmö. At Puttgarden the train was driven on a ferry for the crossing to Denmark. I arrived in my hotel at 20:45 totally exhausted.
The next day I had a massive migraine and I lay in bed all day until, at a quarter to 8, I felt good enough to attend the pre-gathering meetup, which I did.
It was fortunate that I had anticipated the migraine and went a day earlier otherwise I'd have missed the gathering. But it was great and I really enjoyed myself. I'm glad I can now say I attended at least one gathering :)
All you people who were there, you're awesome and I enjoyed talking to you very much although I was quite shy and in the background, which is my nature. I exchanged cards and experiences with quite a few YouTubers though and made some new friends.
I hope to be able to do this more often in the future.
Hope you enjoy this video and look out for the mysterious encounter with one of the lost seeing stones or 'Palantirs' we came across on our walk through town. ;-)

Lol I have also ride that ferry when travelling by train in Europe, never had such a bumpy ride though :P Looks like you had lots of fun at the gathering. Imagine to go to a playground and fool around with YouTubers. Cool AE towards the end!

@YOZcreative Yeah it was a great first gathering for me. It was nice getting to know so many youtubers I hadn't heard of before.
Nice effect isn't it ;) I couldn't resist ^^

@MDkid1 Haha, those stones reminded me of the Palantirs in LotR, the seeing stones, so I couldn't resist bringing them to live :)
Oh and yes, I have seen the Roxburgh version of Hound of the Baskervilles. It's indeed amazing. I also love the version with Jeremy Brett.

Leuk verslag, mooie beelden en muziek. En als Lord of the ring-fan was ik blij verrast met het grapje aan het einde. Mooi gedaan!
