the best spots at erie r the mouth at elk and at walnut the best spots r the stop sign hole and the manchester hole. plus hopefully we get an early run nxt month for some steelhead

well this weekend will be my first trip up to erie for steelhead this yr

My buddy went for a swim in the manchester hole few years back, wasnt a good thing. Waders filled up fast, scary few minutes.

word on the pa steelhead report for erie is that they are starting to surface near the lake shore already near sun set and early sun rise, they are already moving in, people are catching them off of trench closest to walnut creek, so i think there will be a early season also!
