@kimarve That's supposed to be the the "reason" why he's acting like that but JCVD's acting sucks in all his movies. Take a look at his ridiculous smile at the end of the scene, it's just pathethic... Van Damme is not an actor, he's a smart guy who knew how to make profit with is muscles and nice kicks at the good time (1985-1995); like many other "actors"...
