The Breath Of My Little Boy's Heart - Niley Story [E15 S1]

My dad walked closer to Miley and Ryan and softly stopped Ryan from hitting Miley her stomach and then he looked back at me.

"I want to help but I cant guarantee itll work. First of all what happened?"

I looked at my dad trying to explain everything in detail for so far I knew. I told him how she got hit and how I found her on the street. After that we let Mileys mom explain everything about Ryans condition while my dad listened carefully taking everything in. When we explained everything he nodded soft.

"Im going t talk to both of the doctors to ask them how they see it further Ill come back as soon as I can."

With that my dad walk out searching for the doctor from Miley and the doctor who follows Ryan. I took a chair that was close to Mileys bed and pulled it closer and sat down on it slowly taking Mileys hand that was now full with tape to hold the IV in place. I looked over at Mileys father who was now looking out the window and then at her mother.

"Its not bothering you that Im here right?"

Her mom shot a soft smile at me shaking her head. I smiled back looking at Miley with all the bandages she still looked so beautiful. I softly stroke her hand. I looked up at Ryan who was looking at Miley blankly still crying soft. I softly picked him up and placed him onto Mileys side slowly laying her arm over him. He soon started to smile and closed his eyes snuggling up to Mileys side. This showed me once again how much he loves his mom. As soon as he knows shes there somehow he just smile knowing shes there. We all waited for a hour and a half until my dad came back into the room. He looked up at me and then at Mileys parents sighing a bit. I stood up and walked over to him.

"Can you do anything? Please tell me you can."

My dad slowly pushed me back onto the chair I was sitting and turned back to Mileys parents.

"I think you better sit with this."

Mileys parents both sat down on a chair as we all looked at my dad.

"They didnt want to tell you this directly but the reason theyre actually keeping Miley alive is because they wanted to give her heart to Ryan considering he now has more life chance than her. Her heart would be the best donor Ryan could probably have considering shes his mother."

I looked at my dad with big eyes.

"Y...you cant be serious. She has to survive they both need each other."

My dad slowly took place to me on the side of the chair laying his hand on my shoulder.

"Nick, shes been hit on the front. She got hit really bad and hard. Her life chance is up to almost nothing. They wanted to discuss this later this evening but since I asked them how they saw it further they told me."

I looked at my dad in disbelieve shaking my head. This couldnt be happening there had to be something. She has to wake up. She couldnt just die and leave her boy yet with a new heart but without a mom. This couldnt happen. I looked at Miley still holding her hand not believing she could be so close to dead I looked back up at my dad.

"Did they give her a certain time to wake up before they consider her dead?"

"About 3 days or otherwise her heart will not work like it is now."

I slowly nodded at my dad but soon looked serious at him.

"Dad, is there really nothing you can do or try?"

He looked at me sighing.

"Look, she normally would have had a bigger chance. But theres something more than I already told you. Something is holding her back to wake up what costs her to get weaker and weaker by hours. Like something she wants to avoid more of a tragedy. They have no idea whats holding her back but something is. If she didnt have something that was holding her back she maybe would be able to wake up and get more life chance. But now shes up to no chance at all."

I looked up at him slightly knowing what he was trying to say.

"So what youre trying to say is that she doesnt want to wake up? That something is holding her back."

He nodded at me what made me look at Miley. Was it the reason Mitchel hurt her that held her back from waking up or the fact she was scared for not gaining money in time and loosing Ryan. I scooted a little closer squeezing her hand soft. Should I tell them what happened? Would it help if they knew? I slowly started to stroke her cheek getting millions of questions in my mind. What if it wasnt Mitchel or Ryan. Then she still wouldnt wake up. My dad soon started to squeeze my shoulder a bit.

"You dont happen to know whats holding her back right?"

I looked at Miley one more time and then at my dad not knowing what to do. She asked me to promise her to not tell what Mitchel did.

1. Oh dang I had trouble writing this =(. It looks like Miley's life is in Nick's hands. But on the other hand they could safe Ryan.
