I just have 1 question. How the fuck can you love a character who died 15 years before the series started and you never met him?

@balaalalaslk I know right? But there's still so much mystery surrounding these characters that might NEVER be explained. And that's why I love this series because not everything is going to be explained, at least I feel it won't be.

@twinvortex I think its the small descriptions given by some characters. But especially love when Ser Barristan talks about Rhaegar.

I really think he would have been a great King. I just really love the descriptions of him going to Summerhall alone and playing his Harp.

The targaryens were known to be practiced in incest hence why they are all blonde etc. The strong stark genes Lyanna had would have over ridden those of the Rhaegar because the brunette gene is much stronger than the blonde. This is why Jon, if he were Rhaegars son is more likely to look like a Stark rather than a targaryen and therefore pass as Neds son. I know you made this particular comment ages ago but i saw it and had to give my opinion on this topic :)
