  • there thinking about bringing out a 6 speed swiss auto engine which delivers 48HP. its engine is tiny compared to yours, even the concept version of the engine

  • Sounds neat. Smaller and lighter would be good. The seat is actually offset in ours to accomodate the engine, but you really can't tell when driving it.

    The nice thing about the 4 stroke is the torque and smooth power delivery, less shifting & doesn't matter if you get "off the pipe" just give it gas & it pulls strong in any gear. The torque curve makes me think that it would work well even with 50 horsepower. We have not built the CRF 450 as planned although the engine is now available.

  • Yes, we hope to do a kart with the new Honda fuel injected CRF 450 later this year. We believe it would deliver 50 plus HP of mega torque that would actually be driveable and useable.
