Grass field take-off and landing in Zenith Aircraft's new STOL CH 750 kitplane. The airplane is powered by the Jabiru 3300 engine, and equipped with Dynon's SkyView glass panel display. For more info: http://www.zenithair.com/stolch750/
Based on the very popular STOL CH 701 "Sky Jeep" design from Chris Heintz that was first introduced more than twenty years ago, the new STOL CH 750 design incorporates all of the 701's amazing short-field capabilities, while maximizing cabin size and load carrying capability allowed under the FAA's new Sport Pilot / Light Sport Aircraft category, as well as incorporating modern CNC manufacturing technology in its construction. Like the original, the STOL CH 750 aircraft was developed as an "off-airport" short take-off and landing kit aircraft to fulfill the demanding requirements of both sport pilots and first-time builders. Designer Chris Heintz has combined the features and advantages of a "real" airplane with the short-field capabilities of "ultralight" aircraft. The aircraft features fixed leading-edge slats for high lift, full-span flaperons (both ailerons and flaps), an all-flying rudder, and durable all-metal construction.

  • I stopped by the factory and was treated to a demo flight in the 750 last fall. Sweet airplane... Stable, easy to control, not overly fast, but you trade it's incredible STOL characteristics for a little of your speed. And the visibility.. WOW! I'm putting together a place to start construction. : ) If you can make it to their hq, do so. You'll be as convinced as I.

  • perfect landing! wish i could ride in one

  • sweet...boy I can't to wait to start working as an aircraft mechanic (A/P) so I can save some money for one of these.

  • Excellent flying!
