Leifur of course had a Greenlandic passport. Because his father was a king there and Greenland is part of the North America. So they were definitely Americans.

@AndyPeterson1988 lol... Chrissy Columbus was Italian just so you know, you ignorant, drunk-sounding, most prob. inbred idiot... hehehe. America doesn't need more colonizers, all that stuff came and went and we don't need any more of that. So keep your Scandinavian ass over in Scandinavia. Cheers!

I beg to differ, they didnt start it straight away, but Eventually they decided since the natives didnt like their kinda living (killing all the animals for their pelts and leaving the meat, destroying the land and what not) they were gonna have to eradicate them, Then theres the whole "you need to believe in Our God" thing, where they tried to eradicate the culture. Colonizers arent very good at being nice.

LOL
They weren't your typical Vikings!!! they were more explore and take slaves rather then conquer and kill all... Well they liked Iceland! haha What happened was they traded the Natives some cow milk for animal pelts, the milk made the natives sick because they were lactose intolerant and they thought that they were trying to poison them so they chased them away from the america and the icelanders didnt go back, I remember it well LoL

My name is last name Leifur and my dads side of the family is related to leif Eiriksson. SO DONT FUCK WITH US LEIFURS YOU FUCKING PEICES OF SHIT FOR COMMERCIALS
Leifur was born in Iceland a hundred years after Norwegians first settled there. The Althing, the Icelandic parliament of the time was founded in 930, 40 years before he was born. When written about, the settlers of that time were called Icelanders and Norwegians were called Norwegians. The Icelanders' national "ego" was established very early.
