Why are people using the mkii for movies? (stupid question no doubt) Don't people take still photographs anymore?

The video is so dark, why not using light on the person when recording ?

there is no mode dial but the are mode button which will work like the dial but its a push button

@kennethFOB Pro's don't use mode dials as they will only need Manual All the time.

Thanks man. I appreciate the candor is showing what's good as well as what's not so good. Nothing can be perfect and most of us know that and don't like to be snowed. I'll be getting the 7D and can't wait. I appreciate you having a DSLR in the price range with great video as well.
