  • Pumpernickel would be an excellent choice to go with that. I hope that's what you chose. :)

  • @gaymilitaryman It was delicious! I wish I could share!

  • This looks absolutely delicious, I love cabbage, however I have never tried it with sausage and onions nor have I ever poured off those juices to cook down and return to pot. I will be preparing this dish in a few days, I also will be adding peeled cubed potatoes, for whatever reason my mom always made the two together and I think combining the two will be soooo good and a pan of buttery cornbread...... thanks for sharing

  • You should make more cooking videos, Calpernia. This is great. Also, you look gorgeous.

  • Had this for dinner & it was great! Thank you! I would love to see more cooking or baking videos from you! Everything I have tried thus far rocks :)!

  • I fucking hate being a moderately healthy eater:/

  • i put cabbage and onions in a iron skittle with butter and give it a burn grill taste let it cook down and get a golden color to it

  • Calpernia... your cooking segments always reduce me to a drooling fool.

  • Callie all this southern food is going to kill you!

  • This is called 'bubble and squeak' in hilljack families like mine!

  • Yummy!

  • I don't eat sausage anymore and that just looks delicious Calpernia, i love cabbage, and it is so economical and totally good that looks like the ultimate yummy dinner - you' re a natural good cook - love being in your kitchen - would love to break bread with you. Nice way to bring in Autumn, home and hearth - Soltice around the corner , the wheel of the turns - love you Callie !
