Cilic was just cooked in this match. He played like 3 straight 5 setter just to get to the SF, so it was a good performance to win the first set, but you could see he was tired. Murray just plays his normal game of offspeed, rolling, pushing shots, waiting for the other guy to miss. If they entered the SF with the same amount of playing time beforehand, Cilic wins it in three, just like he did at the 2009 US Open.

@BrotherTree1 both about the same height aswell at 6'6"

@Rafathaman94 But he came through those matches. He was brave on those big points. Is that not the mark of a champion?

@Rafathaman94 You are looking too much into it is the simple answer...
-
@Rafathaman94 '3-4 3-40 down the line...' Wtf are you serious?! Lol at how you get dig out individual points to try and strengthen a case saying Federer was luck at the french.
-
@Rafathaman94 Rafa is the king of clay in case your forgotten and he's younger. So Federer had a hard time winning RG. What you seem to forget Roger had made it to the RG final 4 times. Something I highly doubt Rafa could manage at the USO unless he receives cupcake draws.

i lean towards "whiny little bitch with a secret gay crush on andy murray but is reluctant to admit" for that particular guy
-
@Rafathaman94Lol I don't know whether to call you a determined opponent to wipe Murray off the earth or to call you a whiny little bitch.
Seriously it's ridiculous. You don't see me soiling every single Roddick video. I have tons of things I'm willing to say about RodDICK but I hold it back.
I don't even soil Monfils my most hated player because I can respect when he has a good victory and don't deny what he's done(which is little)

fucking hate murray that whiney little bitch
good point....its hard to compare them i guess. although i think murray will hold the uphand against nadal when its on hard court NOWDAYS.. Really hard to say coz Nadals achievements were all when he was fit and on clay mostly...i miss him!!! Oh well, you are right. Nadal is probably better in general...
i change my mind all the time! typical!

@ArjunJethwa I agree that Rafa at the USO was quite lucky. Most of his opponents went through a 5 setter before hand. And Djokovic technically and statistically is an easier opponent than Federer. It took Djokovic 3 years of defeats including a straight sets defeat in 2009 before he could beat him. Where Federer had a strings of errors in the 10 match and he still took it to 5 sets and had match points. AO 11 match was a good example of Djokovic's potential but it still doesn't compare to Fed.
