I am sorry but the USb port is only for playback, not for live viewing.

Will it turn on automatically when the car is turned off, and turn off automatically when the car is turned off?

Yes it will begin recording when you start your car. When you turn off your car, it will continue recording for about 5 to 10 extra minutes and then shut off automatically. During the 5 to 10 minutes that its recording, it uses it own internal battery.

No Tecnical support, you can't set up date and time that is bad . Nobody explain that issue. That is not good

Nice video quality though, but no built-in LCD screen to ensure your camera is ligned up properly

I bought the PomCam with the IR 3 months ago with the IR feature. It has quit working. Screen freezes, wont power up sometimes and shuts off on its own. Worked great before it started messing up. Not dropped, not left in hot car and didnt get wet. Dont know what is wrong with it. Out $137 bucks though. thanks.
