Part 1 Of 2

Business Intelligence (BI) is one big area! This video will provide you an introduction into the BI domain. Making a video discussing the theory can be daunting but I hope this video via means of presentation helps you understand the key aspects of BI is and how you would create your warehouse.

As the theory can be quite challenging I have tried to condense it down to the most salient points. Unfortunatley this video is all discussion before we get to the good stuff! So please sit back and watch this important video which will give you some of the knowledge you require to make you into a BI superstar!

This is one of many videos which can be seen at PCTeach.me. Come join the gang!

  • Hi, this is very good and easy to understand info. i'm starting my BI course next week, please if u have any tips shoot at me. thank you for wonder full video...

  • @ssinghmann Hi there! On your course pay close attention to the terms nomalised/denormalised data, this goes hand in hand with terms OLAP/OLTP(as per vid). You need to grasp dimensions versus facts (stars & snowflakes) as this is KEY to how cubes work. After your course if you stuck on anything please give me a shout. Thanks for watching!

P.s. There is a part 2 to this vid (if you haven't watched it already)

  • You really should move the mic away from the front of your mouth. Try setting it about 1.5 inches below your mouth, never directly in front of it.

  • @SyndicateAss Hi, I am afraid I don't use SAP so cannot assist you in area. Sorry.
