I agree we all have faults but if your partner is not willing to change then how do you change? And is not willing to meet you half way then what do you do?

@Zozo859 In about 90% of such cases, in my experience, when one partner changes him or herself, regardless of what the other is doing, and sticks to the change, the other partner begins to react positively and change too. (Bonus help: add prayer to it.) This won't happen only if your partner is beyond his or herself, wrapped in selfishness, and intent on hurting you. Then my advice is get out.

Marriage between to people must be taken with caution. That which is built can be easily destroyed when pride enters the heart of the spouse. To have a effect marriage there must be LOVE, RESPECT, HONOR, AND AGREEMENT to the roles each one plays in the house. Man ought to love his wife, wife ought to submit to that mans LOVE (not his abusive control). There ought to be decision made within each other(not parents or friends) and a family that PRAYS TOGETHER, STAYS TOGETHER.
