I love to unicycle -- it's really yourself and a wild wheel, and it's up to you whether you're going to fight it or master it. I've been riding since 1970, when I was 9. In my 20s, though, I discovered giraffe unicycling, and I could never really ride the short ones again. Maybe off-road unicycles are the way to go, I don't know. Certainly your mastery and enthusiasm is catching, and inspiring, and it makes me want to give it a go.

Most people don't tell you that the hardest part in idling on a unicycle is not the front/back balancing but the left/right balancing. In order to keep your left/right balance, you must twist your hips so the wheel does like an ''C'' or the opposite of a ''C'' shape depending on what side you have to balance the unicycle. You cannot idle in a straight line as far as I know.
