@aep1974 Whats the point of england?
-
local governments need more power, so do national governments, bring the power down to the people.
-
Multiple currencies hold the Euro and the ECB and European Parliament and Commission accountable for mismanagement. The corruption allowed by concentrating the market's hopes into one central currency greatly outweigh the inconvenience of multiple currencies. The free market is only free if government is stripped of its power to make a single central currency legal tender. The free market is only free if every European resident and business is free to refuse the Euro.
-
Yes the Euro, a single currency removes the cost of exchanging currency, improves price parity, etc, these aid the free market.
-
Euro and European Central Bank are "free market"? Oh my God!
-
I agree the free market should be allowed to flourish, the problem is that many of the things that would help that, are exactly the sort of things Mr Hannan and co complain about such as the Euro, free movement of labour or redistrubuting capital to poorer areas, etc...

True.

He did not say the 'EU' because the behemoth and its big brother tentacles, that is todays EU, did not exist while he was alive, lol.

mr Hannnan as Lithuanian, I can say that my parliamentars voted for censorship bill, very similar to communism censorship, so only eu can save us. You dont live in Lithuania so you know nothing about us, and how fucked up eastern europe really is.
EU = death of democracy = progress towards 1 world government. Tragic!

Gotta love Daniel Hannan. His point in this video brings up a very interesting question: what the hell is the point of the EU? I've been against it from the beginning, but it seems that those who created it want to dissolve country borders and make one very large continental government. To that I say: NO THANKS!!
