I have noticed that there are no good quality videos of Kelly performing this song and since I've been holding on to my copy for so long I decided to finally upload it. I hope you all enjoy :)

"Clarkson is streets ahead of any artist in her market" That pretty much sums up why I hate popular music. Real music is neither a business or a competition. But popular music is. People are constantly trying to make the next hit record so they can sell as much as possible. That is not art... and music is art... add logic... Popular music is not real music, It's like high quality ring tones.
Admittedly, every once in a while the mainstream churns out a decent song.
Thats true but most of the artists do not think this way, its they're labels who have to be this way because theres so much money involved. Her songs like Irvine are real art, but they dont make money.
Kelly is always fighting with her label cause she wants to do different music every record, but they obviously want her to record the same songs very time coz they cant loose the money. Its because of piracy, labels cant afford to take risks, and let artists grow
If what you say is true then the smaller record labels wouldn't be letting their artists have much power over what they do. The smaller labels have the least money and can therefore afford less risk. The big labels can afford to take risks, they just don't want to lose money, any money. Musicians and record labels still make millions, and its not like labels didn't try to control their musicians before napster first came.
PS I don't like Kelly Clarkson's voice. It bores me.
Each one of these labels is owned by a corporation. These corporations make BILLIONS upon billions each year. If some pop star's album flops their not exactly going to have to sell their houses to pay the bills. Sony (who owns sony music entertainment) made 78.9 billion dollars this year.
It's not that they can't afford it. It's that they don't care about anything but profit. I don't really blame them, their business men not artists.

Point is: business corrupts music.
