There are only a handful of names instantly recognizable throughout Michigan City...and two of the biggest are John Records Landecker and Uncle Lou Weber. It was time the man who is in the radio wing of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame met the man who would easily be a first ballot member of a Michigan City Hall of Fame.
It was also a reunion of the Fun in Michiana Show as Paula Griffin was able to pick up right where they left off years ago when she co-hosted the show. Live and Local listeners where on the edge of their seats, waiting to see if John and Paula could work in a reference to the Barker Inn, chili or hot soup...and they did not dissapoint.
Live and Local and the Fun in Michiana show are two examples of why when you think radio...you think local radio. Corporate radio cannot replicate shows like these...
Somebody I'd like to meet. I'm working on a rock song now with lyrics, that I sing to!

John, Paula and Uncle Lou! This was great radio. I hate to admit it, but when I'm in "Da Region" I listen to Fun In Michiana too. Puts me in the mood for some HOT SOUP.
